Generous donations to our Club...

Our Danish friends are once more here for the soaring season.

Birgitte Oerskov and Jorgen Thomsen.

And as if their delightful company was not enough, they have also donated two Becker VHF Transceivers to the club.

Jorgen, in his usual resourceful way, acquired them as a result of the change to the European VHF channel spacing.

These radios will be put to good use as an upgrade and installation in two of our club gliders.

It is with great pleasure that the club accepts their gift and we hope to see Brigitte & Jorgen many more times over the coming years, enjoying the local soaring in their beautiful Arcus glider.

Also, one of our former members, Michael Wall has donated an Oxygen bottle to the club. This kind gift will find a place in one of our club gliders for the use of those pilots who go chasing the wave.

To all those members and ex-members who continually find the time and effort to support our club, we say thank you.

Best wishes

SRGC Committee.
