So on Saturday the 5th, he was totally unprepared for the surprise birthday party his wife had organized for him.
Members of SRGC arrived in the morning their faces a picture of innocent, everyone willing to play a role in the day's proceedings.

Even the weather choose to be involved and turned on a beautiful sunny winter's day to insure that flying could take place.
The Deception Squad kept Ingo busy down on the strip all afternoon so that the Transformer Group could change the hanger into a dinning room and Catering Co-Op could whip their various specialities. It all went well and Ingo only became suspicious only when it was time to put the gliders to bed. Then Judy told him it was a party for him, his grin said it all, the smile was still present when the lights were turned off and the hanger doors locked. Among the many delectables served for dinner were a special treat of real German style Bratwurst sausages, that really do go well with beer and this is from a non beer drinker and slices of very rich chocolate Birthday Cake for anyone with room.
The night went very well and the only thing left to do is for Ingo to go shopping the money form the wishing well to buy the rocking chair he wants. In the future, after a days gliding he will be able sit in his chair, relax, think of his friends and do the flight sheets.
